Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Northampton. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio and providing expert accounting services.
About the Role:- Preparation of accounts for a significant client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
- Preparation of working paper files, ensuring accuracy.
- Review financial accounts and VAT returns.
- Preparation of income tax computations, corporate tax returns, VAT, and PAYE.
- Support Partners during client meetings, providing guidance to clients and proactively handling queries and problem solving.
- Overseeing junior staff, including review work and providing training.
- Build strong rapport with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
- Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities.

- Strong up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
- Working knowledge of accounting software, including Xero, VT, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH.
