Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert accounting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit statutory and financial statements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns and assessments for various organisational structures.
- Assist with VAT returns and ensure timely completion.
- Manage workflow and ensure client work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters and provide expert advice.
- Confidently communicate with clients, attending meetings and addressing queries.
- Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide training and development for junior staff and work closely with senior team members.
- Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:- ACCA, ACA or CA qualified, with previous accountancy practice experience.

- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
