Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist at Aspris Children's Services, you will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments of new and present students to establish the scope, level, and nature of their individual needs.
You will lead and facilitate group and/or individual sessions, ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the students, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the students' Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
You will manage, monitor, and review an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales. You will know and take responsibility for the EHCP provision for Speech and Language Therapy in all of the caseload.
You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case file notes, and computerized information, and other associated documentation; providing and presenting progress reports on a regular basis.
You will liaise with professional and teaching colleagues to support the needs of individuals. You will also assist with the analysis and reporting of statistical data and information for research and audit purposes.
You will manage your own workload independently.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will be registered and will hold a BSc in Occupational Therapy or a profession-specific equivalent qualification.
The candidate will possess the following characteristics:
