Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with hearing impairments and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalized support to deaf students and work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective education plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to deaf students;
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement IEPs;
- Adapt teaching materials to meet individual student needs;
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment;
- Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure student well-being and progress.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with students with hearing impairments (desirable but not essential);
- Relevant qualification in Special Education or a related field (advantageous);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £27,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
