Job Title: Military Medical Examiner Physician

Job Summary:
Pertemps Medical is seeking a highly skilled Military Medical Examiner Physician to join our team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for the safe, effective, and timely delivery of medical assessments on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for new recruits to the Royal Navy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Adopt an occupational medicine approach to assess candidates' medical fitness for the Royal Navy role
* Review primary care notes and optician reports to determine any conditions that may impact a candidate's ability to safely carry out the role
* Conduct face-to-face medicals to discuss candidates' history and perform thorough head-to-toe examinations
* Discuss conditions found with a senior Naval clinician to determine the final outcome

Requirements:

* Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) / Post CCT
* Full Registration with the GMC and record of Continuous Professional Development
* Good organisational and communication skills
