Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Connect2Employment. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process financial transactions and reconcile accounts in Xero.
  2. Manage supplier statements, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up with suppliers as needed.
  3. Reconcile payroll and accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries and resolving issues.
  5. Verify supplier payments and maintain accurate records.
  6. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and document management.
  7. Prepare reports on Excel as requested by management.
  8. Assist with other accounting processes and tasks as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accounts/Finance Assistant experience.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Negotiation, communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A good level of education and relevant qualifications.
