We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gatehouse Administrator at our UK Distribution Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing site access and ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service to drivers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics staff to coordinate vehicle movements, ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Direct and manage the flow of traffic within the facility to prevent congestion and ensure the smooth movement of vehicles.
- Proven experience in an administrative, transport, or operational support role, ideally within a similar environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver a positive customer experience.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, for liaising with 3rd party suppliers, internal members, and visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially during busy periods.
- Good IT skills, with comfort in Google Suite or similar office software.
