About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Gatehouse Administrator to join our team at our UK Distribution Centre. As a first point of contact for all vehicles entering the site, you will be responsible for managing site access and maintaining accurate records of all entries and exits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, ensuring smooth movement and preventing congestion.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles, including details such as vehicle registration, driver details, time of entry/exit, and cargo information.
  • Provide professional and courteous assistance to drivers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics staff to coordinate vehicle movements, ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in an administrative, transport, and/or operational support role, ideally in a similar environment.
  • Strong customer service approach, with the ability to quickly build rapport and consistently deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with 3rd party suppliers, internal members, and visitors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially during busy periods.
  • Good IT skills, with comfort in Google Suite or similar office software.
