Job Title: Factory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at our Rochdale factory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our manufacturing process, overseeing all aspects of the factory, and driving efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the workforce to achieve production goals and freshness guidelines.
  • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing site, including production processes, equipment maintenance, and health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Manage and control costs, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and people management experience within an FMCG/Food environment.
  • Strong background in food manufacturing or food production.
  • Practical working understanding of food manufacturing processes, including food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Hands-on experience of managing KPIs, budgets, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, continuous improvement techniques, and methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and a resilient nature.
