We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to support our Campaigns, Policy and Research directorate. This dynamic team works closely with politicians, officials, and the wider sector to raise awareness of issues affecting the Armed Forces community and drive evidence-based change to improve policy and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with teams across RBL to understand and coordinate research activity, share knowledge, and ensure research findings inform policy and practice.
  • Monitor the latest developments in research and data related to the Armed Forces community locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for further research, evaluation, and data development.
  • Design and deliver research activities, considering appropriate methods for different contexts.
  • Develop a network of close working relationships with key research stakeholders, including academic institutions, research agencies, charities, government departments, and the Armed Forces community.
