About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Brent, starting ASAP. This is a full-time position involving close work with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, including support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support learning activities by assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons to ensure student participation.
  • Provide individualised support by offering one-on-one help to students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment by managing behavior and promoting respect.
  • Monitor progress by tracking student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Facilitate communication by building strong relationships with students, parents, and staff for effective collaboration.
