About the Role:

Teach Now is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to our pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that all students are actively participating and achieving their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Lead small group interventions and one-to-one support for students who need extra help.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to learn.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop tailored learning plans for students with special educational needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
  • A Level 4 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
