About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Runcorn. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Manager in developing and implementing inventory strategies. Your primary focus will be on ensuring optimal inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement inventory strategies
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with inventory management
- Provide regular reports to senior management on inventory performance
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory management or a related field
- Proven track record of success in inventory management and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
