Inventory Planning Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking an experienced Planning Supervisor in Runcorn for a full-time, permanent position. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will manage a team of 2 Supply Planners, 2 Material Controllers, and 2 Transport Planners, supporting the Supply Chain Manager in delivering Supply Chain Master Schedule and Strategy targets.
Your primary focus will be on team development, OTIF, and inventory management, with a strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
You will work closely with the Transport planners to ensure routes are correct and maintained in SAP, and refresh at key periods key SKU classifications and inventory targets to ensure optimal inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have experience in production, material, and transport planning, with knowledge of export shipping being a plus. You will be responsible for resolving OTIF failures while avoiding unnecessary costs and driving improvements and risk mitigation.
This role requires a strong understanding of process flows to understand upstream and down implications of plans and changes to plan, as well as change management, risk management, CI management, and innovative thinking.
