Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher

Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to work with our dynamic and enthusiastic team. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and colleagues to promote a culture of inclusion and respect.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, including those with autism, challenging behavior, and medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the school and students.
  • Passion for SEN education and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to students and schools.
