About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at One Retail. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas to maintain high hospital standards.
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full.
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Patient-focused and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware of the potential for contact with patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • A willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
