Domestic Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full to prevent any unpleasant odors or health risks
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Patient-focused and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware of the potential for coming into contact with patients who are unwell or showing signs of distress
  • Will to learn and go the extra mile for our patients, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
