Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Expleo Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and installing manufacturing processes and equipment for a global automotive manufacturer in the Chester area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design process feasibility and co-design product and process
  • Style assessment, quotation, and requirements monitoring
  • Assembly integration and validation plan, digital ECM quotation, and management
  • Define list of parts needed for mock-up and trials
  • Participation in meetings, technical review, and traceability/conformity/safety tightening
  • Management of DST and assembly, contribution to SP2 assessment
  • Assembly process adaptation, elaboration of assembly sequence, and quotation of solutions
  • Definition of operating process and process sheets, development of product and process feasibility
  • Creation of requests for tools/equipment, creation of FOA, and participation in construction of way of integrating and validating process
  • Assembly evaluation synthesis, creation of process sheets, and validation on plant and pilot line
Requirements:
  • HNC/Degree in Mechanical or Engineering
  • High level of understanding of manufacturing process and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of automotive process engineering, project management, and design/installation of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, strong cross-functional team leadership skills, and ability to work autonomously
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and CAD systems
