An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant / Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our award-winning team in Cumbria. Our office is one of the most successful operations in the region, offering a fun and rewarding environment.

The role is ideal for both experienced Recruitment Consultants and those looking to enter the recruitment industry.

**Job Purpose:**

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will contribute to the growth of the operation by seeking new opportunities and working with existing clients to deliver exceptional service across Cumbria.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Business development with existing clients: exploring and identifying new opportunities.

* Business development with prospect clients: securing new business.

* Customer service: delivering high levels of service to both clients and candidates alike.

* Candidate attraction: recruiting, interviewing, and assessing candidates to match with job roles.

* Maintaining client and candidate records: adhering to quality procedures and legislation, ensuring a compliant service.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

* Driven and self-motivated.

* Able to develop relationships and negotiate effectively.

* Proven track record within a sales environment.

* Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal, able to listen actively.

* Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills: managing priorities to achieve specific deadlines.

**Benefits:**
