Rehabilitation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our innovative Medical Rehabilitation Team at Zurich 56 Company Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will assist in the rehabilitation management of income protection claims, providing propositional support and training and development for the team of claims case managers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical rehabilitation, particularly in relation to psychiatric illness, Musculo-skeletal, cancer, and other conditions. You will be able to form working relationships quickly and professionally, positively impacting upon the claims department's function and our business retention and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage a minimum portfolio of 60 rehabilitation referrals over a 12-month period.
- Work with the Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR) Claims Case Manager, employers, and employees and their medical advisors to draw up rehabilitation plans and graded return to work plans.
- Fully demonstrate medical skills, knowledge, best practice guidelines, and research-based evidence in all rehabilitation activities.
- Enable, support, and evaluate appropriate effective treatment provision through the Zurich provider network.
- Actively encourage knowledge transfer into Zurich claims and rehabilitation service departments.
What We Offer
A competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including flexible working hours, home-based work options, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
