Teaching Support for KS2 Students
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide additional support to students in KS2 classes. As a member of the school team, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.
The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position would initially be booked until February 2025 with the potential to go longer and would be full time.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning, providing individualized attention and interest-based work to cater to diverse needs and abilities.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, promoting creativity and inclusivity.
- Help to manage classroom behaviour, implementing strategies to promote respect, empathy, and self-regulation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Education or related subject area.
- Experience working with students in KS2, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and students.
