Job Title: AI/ML Solution Architect

At Barclays, we're seeking a talented AI/ML Solution Architect to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape. As a key member of our team, you'll drive innovation and excellence by designing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and create solutions that balance technology risks against business delivery.
  • Design and develop solutions as products that can evolve, meeting business requirements that align with modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling.
  • Balance risks and controls to deliver agreed business and technology value.
  • Provide fault finding and performance issue support to operational teams.
  • Conduct solution design impact assessments in terms of risk, capacity, and cost impact.
  • Escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately.
  • Manage risk and strengthen controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications in business.
  • Experience in designing and developing cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
