Job Title: AI/ML Solution Architect

Join Barclays Bank PLC as we seek a highly skilled AI/ML Solution Architect to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape. As a key member of our team, you will drive innovation and excellence by designing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solutions as products that can evolve, meeting business requirements that align with modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling.
  • Identify and implement technologies and platforms that balance risks and controls to deliver business and technology value.
  • Support operational teams with fault finding and performance issues, leveraging available tooling.
  • Assess solution design impact in terms of risk, capacity, and cost, including estimation of project change and ongoing run costs.
  • Evaluate breaches of policies and procedures, escalating appropriately.
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to work owned or contributed to.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function, building a network of contacts.
