Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual financial statements for sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Assist in drafting tax returns and calculations in conjunction with accounting tasks.
  • Prepare VAT submissions.
  • Engage confidently and professionally with clients.
  • Address inquiries and correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Analyze financial data and generate precise reports.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in preparing self-assessment tax returns, year-end financial statements, and corporate tax calculations.
  • Currently pursuing AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adopt a proactive approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven.
  • Capability to work towards both individual and team objectives.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a dedication to providing excellent service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate and organize effectively.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software.
  • Experience with Sage accounting software.
