Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Brakes is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Role model our Company Values and Purpose
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector
  • Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth versus targets
  • Effectively partner with customers to understand their plans for growth, adding value, and offering a wide range of practical solutions and products
  • Understand competitor activity and proposals, ensuring you are always offering your customers the best local solutions
  • Work proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market

As a successful Area Sales Manager, you will be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will be tenacious and resilient, with the drive and determination to succeed, and demonstrable experience of delivering against targets. You will also be self-motivated to enhance your own development, seeking continuous improvement by leveraging and learning from a diverse range of skills and experience, and a range of L&D programmes.
