Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a significant transformation programme within a large and complex Northern Ireland Public Sector customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the programme, including the management of client relationships, project governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall programme delivery, including the planning, resourcing, and budgeting of the programme.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the customer, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage programme risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure programme success.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Director to ensure programme governance, financial management, and communication are aligned with the customer's requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong programme governance and risk management skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, information technology, and technical leads.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the customer's business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications

  • Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP, or similar programme management certification.
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant field or similar.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager.
