About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our nursery, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and development. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore and learn.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children
  • Possess vital safeguarding experience and knowledge
  • Craft engaging activities for the children under your care
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and its practical application
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive connections with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Show dedication to delivering top-notch education and support for children growth and development
  • Approach teaching and learning with enthusiasm, creativity, and innovation
  • Being adaptable to provide support to a diverse range of children across various nursery rooms
Requirements
  • A true passion to work with children
  • Able to display sensitivity and patience
  • Childcare experience
  • CACHE L2/L3
  • Good knowledge of EYFS
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
