Business Development Manager

At Centric Talent, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Logistics to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious 3PL client, driving growth opportunities and managing customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer expectations in line with operational service levels, attending visits, meetings, and conference calls.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and logistics providers to resolve queries and provide accurate data.
- Analyse statistics and KPIs, creating monthly reports detailing SLA and KPI status.
- Liaise with transport providers and customers to arrange deliveries.
- Update operations with clear instructions for all work completed on site.
- Ensure stock files and reports are accurate and up-to-date, providing real-time stock updates.
- Invoice processes and materials accurately to an agreed schedule.
- Maximise growth opportunities in conjunction with the Client Relations Manager.
- Provide support to internal departments with customer-related queries.
- Liaise effectively with the planning team.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
- Maintain stock control and stock file integrity.
- Previous experience in 3PL Account Management (desirable).
- Minimum 2 years+ experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Confident using IT systems.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- 25 days per annum plus 8 days bank holidays.
- x3 salary death in service benefit.
- Full-pay maternity leave for 6 months then standard pay.

We estimate that this position comes with a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
