Job Description

Turner & Townsend Group is seeking a highly skilled Programme Director to lead large-scale programmes to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Turner & Townsend representative with the client and selected subcontractors during programme execution, negotiating changes to the scope of work and collaborating with Business Development to market and secure additional work.
  • Oversee the establishment of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
  • Establish delivery requirements for all programme areas and monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned programme.
  • Mobilise resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work, discussing qualifications required with capability leads and National Service Leads.
  • Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for programme elements, ensuring the programme meets or exceeds goals established in project plans.
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence on the programme through application of Quality Assurance processes, monitoring and reporting on project activity progress, and establishing weekly meetings to review project status and formulate programme action items.
Qualifications
  • Highly commended leadership skills and proven ability to operate at Programme Executive level.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related technical/business field and significant competence spanning all stages of programme life-cycle.
  • Able to manage and direct cross-functional teams with credible pan-domain and pan-discipline expertise.
  • Senior Accreditation of competency to a professional body, CIOB or equivalent.
