Job Description

The Integrated Community Ageing Team (ICAT) at Whittington NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. As a Geriatric Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive geriatric assessments, supporting elderly patients within the hospital and across the community, and formulating clear plans for rehabilitation and support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse to hone their skills in geriatric care, work with leading specialist healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NMC Registration
  • At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years
  • Experience caring for elderly patients
  • Strong clinical knowledge, good initiative, and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
