Electrical Installation Engineer Role

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team in the South West. As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on existing electrical systems, installing new electrical systems, and ensuring they adhere to national electrical safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems in domestic and commercial environments.
  2. Ensure electrical systems meet national electrical safety standards and regulations.
  3. Use plans, wiring schematics, and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete projects.
  4. Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems.
  5. Identify electrical problems and repair them, escalating issues as required.
  6. Ensure high-quality workmanship that upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety standards.
Requirements:
  1. City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent electrical qualifications (JIB/ECS Gold Card).
  2. City and Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate is desirable.
  3. Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Improver.
  4. Friendly and approachable with a flexible attitude, good customer focus, and service.
  5. Knowledge of policies, processes, and procedures, including safety.
  6. Full UK driver's license.
Benefits:

Up to £40,000 per annum, plus vehicle, pension, mobile phone, call-out, and standby allowance, and more.
