Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Recovery Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Recovery Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients post-surgery to identify any signs of complications, adverse reactions to anesthesia, or other concerns.
- Manage Pain and Comfort: Assess and manage patients' pain levels post-surgery through medication administration, non-pharmacological interventions, and collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Provide High-Quality Care: Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation levels, to detect any changes indicating distress or deterioration.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
- Experience: Experience in perioperative or critical care nursing, with a focus on post-anaesthesia care.
- Skills: Proficiency in basic life supports (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), ability to quickly assess patients' conditions, and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Competitive Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum.
