We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our CDM and Principal Designer services business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and growing this business unit, while maintaining a hands-on approach and client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Set long-term goals and align the company's objectives with market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth, secure new contracts, and expand the client base.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the firm's processes, workflows, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the consultancy at industry events, conferences, and meetings to increase the firm's visibility.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a well-qualified team of consultants, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the consultancy, including budget management, cost control, and profitability analysis.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a design or construction management related field.
  • CMaPS status and Chartered Membership of a relevant body (e.g. MCIOB, RIBA).
  • Proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications and experienced with BIM.
  • Other vocational and related qualifications beneficial.
