Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Control and Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including random counts and compliance with network count strategies.
  2. Safety and Compliance: Support safety programs and ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
  3. Quality and Integrity: Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, and provide proactive feedback to the operations management team.
  4. Root Cause Analysis: Identify and analyze root causes of inventory deviation, and develop corresponding action plans to reduce future incidents.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of area managers and hourly associates, and drive team performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: From an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant Experience: In people management and development, with previous supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communications skills in English.
