We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Control and Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including random counts and compliance with network count strategies.
- Safety and Compliance: Support safety programs and ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
- Quality and Integrity: Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, and provide proactive feedback to the operations management team.
- Root Cause Analysis: Identify and analyze root causes of inventory deviation, and develop corresponding action plans to reduce future incidents.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of area managers and hourly associates, and drive team performance.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and motivate team members to keep pace with our rapid growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: From an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Experience: In people management and development, with previous supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communications skills in English.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong Commitment: To employee development, with an exceptional level of dedication and motivation.
- Initiative and Results: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and produce results, while multi-tasking and prioritizing in a complex environment.
- Logistics Experience: Background in logistics and previous Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Management experience.
