About the Role:

The Supply Chain Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our logistics team, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition. This will involve coordinating with our clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operations:
    • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
    • Coordinate with our clients and carriers to ensure that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  2. Financial / Legal:
    • Manage the logistics budget and ensure that all expenses are within budget.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and reduce costs.
    • Ensure that all logistics activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Quality:
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all shipments are delivered in good condition.
    • Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction.
  4. People Management:
    • Manage a team of logistics coordinators and ensure that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve logistics skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  4. Experience in logistics management, preferably in a 3/4PL pharmaceutical environment.
  5. Excellent Excel skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.
