Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our QHSE department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all RSE companies' activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation and minimizing risks.

This role requires travel across Scotland to ensure compliance with RSE's health and safety management systems and provide assistance on QHSE issues to departments and individuals within the Ross-shire engineering group of companies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams on matters related to QHSE issues and ensuring compliance with RSE's health and safety management systems.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.

In return, we offer an estimated salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 33 days holiday allowance, company pension scheme, discounted national gym membership, and access to professional fees paid. Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Nebosh General Certificate (Level 3) or equivalent qualification.
  • Practical understanding of managing QHSE with a focus on building relationships with delivery teams.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and its application in manufacturing and construction sites.
