Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Newark-on-Trent. As a key member of our tax function, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, and drafting financial statements.
About the Role- Manage a diverse client base, overseeing all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Draft financial statements, providing clear and concise information to clients.
- Review and provide feedback on work completed by junior team members, promoting professional development.
- Lead liaison with HMRC, preparing and reviewing letters, and ensuring timely responses.
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively addressing queries and resolving issues.
- Contribute to compliance work, including payment advice letters, and maintain up-to-date tax knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as audit, to obtain relevant information and ensure seamless service delivery.
