Learning Mentor for Excluded Students

At Zen Educate, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team at an amazing alternative provision in Exeter. As part of a wider Multi Academy trust, this school works with students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education.
The ideal candidate will be a positive role model figure to the students, providing support with life skills and learning inside and outside the classroom. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, with a working hours of 08:30-15:30.
We offer a competitive salary range of £85-£110 per day, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced teaching assistants looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable students.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to drive with access to a vehicle, as you may be required to pick up students from their homes. We also offer comprehensive training in CPI de-escalation, LOTC (learning outside of the classroom), health and safety, and first aid.
