Asset Deployment Director Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Asset Deployment Director to oversee the lifecycle management of a specific group of assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for asset acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset acquisition and deployment strategies to optimize asset utilization and minimize maintenance costs.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal asset performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of asset performance through failure analysis, PM monitoring, and condition monitoring.
  • Assist corporate and regional management with lifecycle positioning decisions and strategic placement and logistics issues.
  • Evaluate asset requests and recommend best solutions considering refurbishment, purchasing, leasing, or renting options.
  • Effectively manage asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities.
  • Prepare and maintain statistical reports related to maintenance, repairs, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance.
  • Oversee the purchasing and build process for new assets from start to finish.
  • Ensure adherence to goals and KPIs established for the specific asset class.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, fleet management, or service management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis.
