Asset Deployment Director Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled Asset Deployment Director to oversee the lifecycle management of a specific group of assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal asset utilization, maintenance, and disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset acquisition and justification strategies
  • Design and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
  • Drive continuous improvement of asset performance through failure analysis, PM monitoring, and condition monitoring
  • Evaluate asset requests and recommend best solutions
  • Manage asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Oversee the purchasing and build process for new assets
  • Ensure adherence to goals and KPIs established for the specific asset class
  • Provide expert asset management advice to key Maintenance, Management, and Operations staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management/Logistics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Solid project management skills
  • Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis
