Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers to work at Breconshire War Memorial Hospital in Brecon.
About the Role:- This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be working on General NHS Wards and providing therapeutic care and support to patients. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be willing to learn and develop your skills further.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months recent and relevant experience within an acute medical or mental health setting. Additionally, you must have proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR in order to work within the NHS.
Key Responsibilities:- Support trained nurses in delivering direct patient care
- Observe, monitor, and keep records of patient conditions
- Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
We offer flexible agency work, block bookings available - Full or Part Time, and weekly pay (Free of charge). Our rates are competitive, with £34 per hour (PAYE), and we provide 24-hour registration (Online Enhanced DBS), free uniform, and contributed pension (Optional).
