Job Title: English Teacher for SEMH School

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a SEMH school in Clacton-on-Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to students aged 11-16, focusing on up to GCSE Level curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students with SEMH challenges.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training or qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position, working hours as per school schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
