About Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a leading private learn-to-swim provider in Scotland, renowned for delivering high-quality, low-ratio swimming lessons for children in small groups of up to 6 children. We are committed to creating a supportive environment that allows our swimming instructors to grow and develop their skills.

Role Overview: As a Newly Qualified Swimming Teacher at Stepping Stones, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning and development. You will play a crucial role in the delivery and progression of swimmers within our swim programme, catering to children typically aged between 3yrs – 11yrs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in a comprehensive mentoring and shadowing program to build teaching skills and confidence
• Assist in the safe delivery of swimming lessons following the Stepping Stones weekly framework
• Support the progression and development of each swimmer through the Stepping Stones framework
• Engage with the assessment of swimmers for the awards program twice per year
• Provide feedback to the Stepping Stones office as required
