This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver high-quality training and assessment services in the field of plumbing and mechanical services. As an NVQ Assessor, you will play a key role in supporting learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing outstanding teaching and learning from day one, and guiding them to their End Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver all aspects and pathways of the PMES theoretical and practical syllabus for City & Guilds and EAL at both Level 2 and Level 3
  • Assess coursework, maintain attendance records and monitor individual progress to ensure the best possible outcome for apprentices
  • Work closely with Training Officers and inspection bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including increasing holiday entitlement, Perkbox lifestyle benefits, and colleague referral bonus payments.

Requirements:
  • Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing, Plumbing NVQ3 or equivalent
  • Relevant gas qualification and experience
  • Certificate in Education or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Good Presentation Skills
  • Good IT Skills
