Production Planner Role at Tec Partners

Tec Partners is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their team in Diss. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and routing special parts to ensure they are manufactured in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and route special parts for manufacturing, adhering to safety standards, efficiency, and cost goals.
  • Develop and download cutting programs for laser and punching machines.
  • Create and manage sheet packing lists, ensuring correct build order, weight limits, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Track progress and raise any issues with the Senior Production Planner.
  • Ensure timely closure of production jobs to streamline information flow within the ERP system.
  • Identify and correct job booking errors, escalating recurring problems to the Senior Production Planner.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies to ensure ERP system data is accurate and reliable.
  • Provide support and coverage for the Planning Team as needed.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proven experience in a planning role within an ERP system.
