Trinity Laban seeks an exceptional fundraiser to lead its Development Department, driving a fundraising step-change in support of its ambitious Strategic Plan. The conservatoire is a world-leading home for students from non-traditional backgrounds, promoting cultural and social progress through the performing arts.

Job Overview

This is an exciting role that will enable you to build support for Trinity Laban and its students during a period of transformation. You will work with innovative artists and influencers, securing major gifts from individuals, charitable trusts, and corporate sponsors.

About the Role

As a key member of the Development Department, you will lead a team focused on securing significant funding to support the conservatoire's mission. Your expertise will be essential in developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, artists, and organizations.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Executive Team, providing strategic advice on fundraising initiatives and campaigns. Your success will contribute significantly to the conservatoire's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Development Department, motivating and enabling the team to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, including major gift campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, artists, and corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and deliver fundraising initiatives, ensuring alignment with the conservatoire's Strategic Plan.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in fundraising, ideally within the arts or education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising plans.
  • A collaborative approach, with experience working as part of a senior leadership team.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Trinity Laban offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
