Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned supplier relations by selecting suppliers and negotiating prices for material and/or services required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select new and alternative sources of supply and collaborate with technical staff to select new and alternative materials and services.
  • Evaluate all purchasing requisitions and programmes to ensure they are correct and reflect the current supplier's lead-times.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to minimise exposure regarding MOQ's and price increases.
  • Liaise with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand to relevant quality.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in Purchasing within a manufacturing or similar environment. They should also possess excellent negotiation skills and be familiar with ERP, MRP systems & Purchasing systems.

We offer a competitive salary between £25,000-£35,000 per year, depending on experience.
