Financial Controller Role

Michael Page Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading retail company and make a significant impact in the finance sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance transformation project, working closely with the CFO to drive results and implement change.
  • Oversee the entire financial controlling function in the UK/EMEA market, ensuring compliance with statutory audit and VAT regulations.
  • Manage a team of 6-8, providing exceptional leadership and management skills to drive success.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, ideally with audit training from a Top 10 firm.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive results and implement change.
  • Proficiency with finance ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary, ranging from £70,500 to £90,000 per annum.
