Heavy Plant Mobile Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Mobile Engineer to join our team at ENS Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing services and repair work on a variety of assets, including trailers, winches, dumpers, diggers, skimmers, telehandlers, Manitou/heavy plant, pallet trucks, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy plant equipment
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues
  • Carry out services and repairs on a variety of assets, including trailers, winches, dumpers, diggers, skimmers, telehandlers, Manitou/heavy plant, pallet trucks, and pumps
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

  • LOLER training is desirable, but training can be provided
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
