As our Principal Installation Manager, you will lead on-site teams to deliver high-quality installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with our project teams, contractors, and partners to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the installation of grid structures and MHE in our automated facilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead on-site teams to deliver high-quality installations, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with contractors, partners, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution and communication.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with national and local legislation.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with high-risk activities such as working at height, confined spaces, or lifting operations.
- Collaborate with our project teams to develop and implement best practices for our delivery methodology.
- Proven experience in managing complex installations, including project management methods at scale.
- Experience in construction site management for large groups of contractors and personnel.
- Relevant experience in mechanical installation of structural steel, pallet racking, and/or ASRS systems.
- Experience in managing the installation and commissioning of automation equipment or conveyor systems.
- Strong understanding of national and local legislation for construction and engineering compliance and safety.
- Formal project management qualification and a degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
